Quarantina

I promised I wouldn’t update about the state of where I am and how I feel until the end of this safer at home. Unfortunately, this is probably not ending anytime soon. Here are the 5 things I’ve witnessed since the beginning of this lockdown.

  1. Privileged White People; Far Too Much - stop it and get back inside; no one cares if you want to go to the salon. You’re not mad that you want the economy to restart, you’re mad that you can’t have the luxury to have someone cater to your wants.

  2. Most Celebrities Are Out Of Touch - Sam Smith, please stop crying in your multi-million dollar mansion. Why is Priyanka clapping from a balcony overlooking no one? Who told Wonder Woman she could sing Covid away?

  3. Most Companies Do NOT Care - The companies that care about their employees are still paying them. Some companies are laying off people while keeping their corporate managers on payroll…no need for receipts. We all know who we’re not shopping from after this.

  4. Stop Fucking Testing Me - Please stop testing me with “I can see who is and ISN’T replying when we’re all at home.” Look, I understand that some of us are just taking long/extended breaks. But a lot of us do not have that same luxury. We’re all just trying to get through this alive. Let’s just do that and call it a win.

  5. I’m Asian As Fuck - I’m not going to stop being Asian, and I think the reason the Lord hasn’t sent me a racist is because SHE knows (that was not a typo) that if that happens; the racist is leaving without an appendage or eye. We’re all keeping notes on who is being racist and it’s not cancel culture; its accountability. So if you’re going to try it; get ready to get popped off.

Stay safe. I’ll see you on the other side of this stronger.
